Packages

Sendside Packages represents an entirely new way of engaging and converting prospects to customers, giving you the ability to deliver the perfect information and respond at just the right time.

Creating a Package

To Create a Package (Business Accounts Only)

Go to: Packages > Packages Tab > Compose

  1. Click 'Create'
  2. Name your Package in the field to the right of your created Package.
  3. Create a message for the first tab. You can use any HTML or the editor.
  4. Click the + tab to add additional tabs: These can be HTML (text), URLs (web pages) or Library items (PDFs or images).
  5. Click 'Save Package' You can edit your existing Packages at any time.

Alert: Save your Package before you preview. Some web sites are coded in a way that will destroy your Package if you preview it before saving.

Tips

Name your Package so you can find it later!
 
Sending a Package

To Send a Package (Business Accounts Only)

Go to: Packages > Packages Tab > Select A Package You Want To Send

  1. Click 'Send'
  2. Preview your Package then click 'Continue' at the bottom right of your screen.
  3. Add Recipients. Just add a first name, last name, and email address.
  4. Write a personalized email message (optional) to be included in the email Package Notification to the recipients.
  5. Click 'Send' You will receive a confirmation screen that will allow you to change or edit your package.


Tips

The personalized email notification (Step 4) will be delivered as part of the Pacakage Notification Email. This allows you to use the same package, but personalize it for every recipient.
 
Sharing a Package

To Share a Package (Business Accounts Only)

Go to: Packages > Packages Tab > Select A Package You Want To Share

  1. Click 'Default Options' from the option menu to the right.
  2. Select 'Share with Organization'

Tips

Sharing gives your entire organization access permission to send this Package.

 

 
Activity Summary

Go to Packages > Summary

The Summary Tab shows all of the Package activity by date. Click on any event to view all of the reciepients interaction with that Package.

 
Reporting for Packages

Go to: Packages > Reports

 
Uploading a List

Go to: Packages > Lists > Upload List

Imported files must be in a CSV file with these column headers in order: Email Address, First Name, Last Name

Your new list will appear. Sending to a list will deliver individual messages to each member of the list.

 

 
Custom SMTP Email Notifications

You may create custom Email (SMTP) notifications when using Packages.

To create a custom email notification for a Package:

  1. Select a Package.
  2. Click SMTP Content at the top.
  3. Select 'Custom' from the Template pull down menu.

NOTE: When you select Custom you will see a single link. This link must remain intact for your Package to function properly. (If you remove this link your email notification will be sent without a Package.)

NOTE: Removing the logo image from your SMTP notification can cause initial read status to disappear. It's recommended that you do not remove this image.
